1. Acceptance

By using Mint Soup Services you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Marketplace role; independent providers; no direct services by Mint Soup

Mint Soup LLC (or the entity operating this site) is a technology platform and online marketplace. We provide software for discovery, booking, communication, and payment processing. We do not, as Mint Soup, perform cleaning, moving, landscaping, junk removal, or other listed services with our own employees or crews at your location.

All services booked through the platform are performed by independent third-party providers who operate their own businesses (or work as contractors to those businesses). Those providers are solely responsible for the quality, safety, legality, and execution of the work, subject to applicable law and any separate agreement between you and the provider.

Mint Soup may verify identity, display profiles and reviews, and facilitate payments; that does not make Mint Soup the employer of providers or a joint venturer in their work. Nothing in these terms creates an agency, partnership, or employment relationship between Mint Soup and customers, or between Mint Soup and providers, except as expressly stated for payment facilitation.

Misrepresentation. You must not represent Mint Soup in marketing or profiles (including Google Business Profile or other directories) as a single local contractor performing every category of work in every city unless that is factually true. Accurate descriptions: Mint Soup is a platform connecting customers with independent providers. Location-based pages on this website describe market demand and booking availability; they are not a claim that Mint Soup maintains a physical presence or performs services in every listed area.

3. Client terms

Bookings are confirmed after payment authorization and provider acceptance. You must provide accurate contact and location details. Cancellation and refund rules apply as stated at booking and in our refund policy.

4. Provider terms

Providers must meet verification requirements, start and complete jobs in line with booking terms, and upload job proof when required. Providers acknowledge they are independent businesses or contractors responsible for their work product, taxes, insurance, and licenses where required. Late starts may be subject to platform policies. Payments are processed via Stripe according to our payout terms.

5. Refunds and disputes

Refunds follow our platform and Stripe policies. Unused or cancelled bookings may be refunded in line with our expiry and cancellation rules. Disputes should be raised through the platform or support.

6. Content and conduct

You must not post illegal, misleading, or offensive content. We may use reviews and proof photos as part of site content in line with our privacy policy.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mint Soup is not liable for bodily injury, property damage, or disputes arising solely from services performed by providers; such claims are primarily between customers and providers. The platform’s liability is limited as permitted by law for its role as an intermediary and software provider. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted.
